This weekend gave me a lot of time to think...

Morning.

I finally broke the question to Kristin about whether she's staying or going this summer. She's moving out on the 8th, which means I have less than a month to find a new roommate and a job. I plan to continue my search this week. I haven't gotten one call back yet which is discouraging but I'm going to keep trying. I really want to take that class this summer..

This week I also have to give that persuasive speech. I think I'll put together that presentation today, shouldn't take too long and putting it behind me now will save a lot of stress later. This weekend has been pretty boring but fine. My brain feels pretty rested for the upcoming week.

So today will be a good day if I do the following:

- Practice at least hour of guitar
- Read + Note take stats chapter 14 (think it's my third time going through this, apparently this is very important...)
- Read 1st half of Money and Banking chapter for econ...
- Create presentation on Meditation for Speech

And of course eat good food, try not to stress out, not spend all day scrolling through facebook, etc etc.. If I get started early I have plenty of time to get all this done.

Last night I was able to get into a really deep state of meditation to the point that my limbs felt completely gone, it was so cool. Meditation has allowed me to start sleeping on my back instead of my side which I have read is better for your skin.

Initially I was pretty stoked when Jack and I were spending time together again but not talking for an entire week has sort of killed it. Jack told me that he hates texting.. Okay, well, if you hate texting it would be nice if you would at least offer to grab coffee or something throughout the week if he was actually interested in me. It's like shit, don't do me any favors buddy.

Terry on the other hand has been texting me quite a bit since he asked for my number on Tuesday. He asked what I was doing this weekend on Friday and suggested we hang out which was different for him. He's usually not that forward in person. We texted each other on Friday but I think he's been out partying this weekend. I'm hoping we get a chance to study together either this evening or tomorrow. Or who knows, actually hang out...

We'll see.

peace.

Roommates. Thinking about next year.

Evening everyone.

Well it's almost 9:00 pm. Today's been a relaxing, entertaining Friday for me for the most part. I'm wondering if I'm going to do anything tonight but it's not looking like it. I'm not worried about it, it's been a good week academically and I'm proud of myself for getting so much done.

I've completely given up talking to Kristin. Fuck it, seriously. She never talks to me unless I talked to her first and today she snapped at me when I apologized for leaving some dishes in the sink. I'm just trying to be courteous. She's been sleeping out in the living room a lot lately. Like I get home from my stats class and she's out there sleeping with her blankets in set up like her bed. I really don't go out in the living room anymore. Whatever, I do not care at all either way, it's not like her and I have been buddy-buddy at all since day one.

I am probably going to live in student village again next year. Allie H. asked me if I'd like to live with her and Kala next year. I really don't know if I'd want to live with someone that I'm friends with, it would take away from my independence. That and I feel like 3 people living together is a lot messier than two. The reason being is that if there's two people if one makes a mess than it's obvious who to blame. With three it's much easier to just leave dishes around because you can't pin it on someone.

Not saying these girls would be like that at all. There's a number of other reasons, such as the convenience of living at student village with the laundry thing, easy parking, etc etc... It just works for me, I feel like it's the best circumstance I could have at CWU and for that reason next year I'll probably just have a different room, same apartment building.

My guitar playing has been kind of lazy lately. Like I've only been averaging about an hour a day, that's not great... in fact lately it's even been worse, like two days this week I've done less than an hour but that was mainly due to my acoustic not functioning. I feel like I have to get through this hump of the recital before I can really dedicate myself to anything else. I really should learn more songs though, I've just been so swamped with school I usually don't want to focus that hard. I'd rather just screw around with the pentatonic scale.

Hmm, let's see what actually happened today.

Nothing really worth mentioning aside from volunteering for AUAP again, which was really fun! We had pizza and I had a piece of this delicious chicken and jalepeno with white sauce, yummm! Dominoes is good pizza, it's my favorite of all the pizza fast food branches I've decided.

Alright I've got my everything bagel and a big glass of wine, gonna be a relaxing evening.

peace.

Trying to have patience with my Dad...

This is a picture of myself that I took this morning. Figured I needed a new picture for my new environment. Today's been quiet and I haven't been doing anything really. My parents were supposed to be coming for dinner but because they're working around my Dad's annoying schedule that's been practically impossible. His truck had an issue yesterday that he had to take to TJ. TJ didn't get a chance to take a look at it until 3' or so but they still should have come up in my Mom's van. Whatever, it's fine it's not like I'd be up to much else today anyway.

I've been feeling sort of shy and awkward in comparison to myself at home, though I feel simultaneously comfortable and relaxed. There's writing on my walls all over the place so I guess that's what's keeping me busy. I went out into the school yesterday and didn't really like it. I went to the super desolate library and got scared half to death by the closing alarm. Either way, it's Saturday so there was nothing to do here but sit around and play guitar anyway.

Jason is moving here tomorrow which means I'll probably be spending some time with him. He'll probably be the first guest to my place besides my parents. Kristin's parents have been here all day. I met them this morning and tried to be friendly but it's weird... I feel kind of awkward, like I'm saying offensive things. Maybe it's because I've been so quiet lately I've been paying more attention to the things that I say.

Either way, I'm still happy to be here. I feel happy to not be asking for Rite Aid wellness + cards.

My Dad's probably just got done at Burger ranch in prosser because he hadn't eaten since 8 this morning. Damn it.

peace.

My lame contribution.

Today has felt pointless.

I didn't want to go anywhere because my gas is below the half again and I want to save that last bit for tomorrow morning before I put gas in. I have about $90 in my checking right now, that's what's left of the $300 a couple weeks ago, not bad. I get paid tonight, this is my second to last full paycheck. I get this one, then another one on the 6th of September. Then I'll get paid for the 7th, 8th and 9th after I leave the company.

I don't want to go to work tomorrow. It's funny, I enjoy being home a lot and not having the responsibilities outside my own (cleaning, guitar, etc..) but being here too long makes me stir crazy. This morning I got up, took a shower, and put on makeup but didn't even do anything except for play guitar.

This is the editted one that I didn't use. I don't really do much editting aside from the coloring. I didn't like this setting versus the other one because it made it look like I'd editted it a ton.

I don't think this default will last long, it annoys me a bit because you can almost see the four whites of my eyes, making me look crazy. This picture is just pretty enough to not look psycho, but it gives me a headache staring at it.

I just made myself a cup of tea, for some odd reason I can't locate the honey so I'll have to do without. Green tea without honey just tastes half ass too me, but straight sugar isn't that bad of a substitute. Usually when my day feels strange, pointless or unfinished somehow, I make a cup of tea and think about what I need to do.

It's 8:30 pm, I should try to read for an hour and then play my guitar for the last 40 minutes or so. I've still got to work on a few songs. Today I started Passive by a Perfect Circle, I hadn't had the skill to work on it before so I'm going to try again now. I really need to stop starting new things and really focus on getting significant chunks of songs I've already been working on down. If I only stuck with one song until I mastered it, though, my song library that I have the ability to play would be more limited than it is today.

I know that giving guitar lessons will give me the opportunity to learn many more songs.

21 More Days

My feelings today were bored and a little fried. I feel pretty tired of this place and want to go out but there's really nothing to do or see. I talked to Kristin about getting on skype and figuring out what we do and don't have, for the most part it seems like we've got pretty much everything.

This is what I've collected so far that we're bringing:
-Coffeemaker (me)
-Dish soap (me)
-Silverware set (Kristin)
-End table (Kristin)
-Futon couch (Kristin)
-Rice maker (me)
-Misc. cooking utensils like measuring spoons (me) and can openner
-Vacuum (Kristin)

Wow, I'm a shlep, look how much I'm NOT bringing. She offered to cover all that stuff though so of course I'm not going to refuse, I'm so thankful she has all of this. I don't have an extra couch or anything.

Personally I'm starting to think of how I'm going to organize my room.

Here's the apartment. I'm going to be in the larger room on the right. I'm wondering how I'm going to decorate my room to make it appealing.

peace.
